Art gallery, artist's studios and workshop space serving the Atlanta arts community

Urban Art Collective is located on Peachtree Road in the heart of Chamblee, Georgia. The two-story building houses three dozen artist studios where the public is invited to visit, explore the studio and gallery spaces, purchase original works of art and meet the artists.

The building also houses workshop space available to artists for hosting classes, workshops, presentations, art exhibitions and more.

Dryads Dancing

Dryads Dancing is named after the legendary tree nymph which according to legend could be seen dancing around the trees in the mystical forest.  Margaret Taylor, the owner and creator of Dryads Dancing as well as Urban Art Collective, has been making reclaimed wood furniture, art & home decor by hand in Chamblee, GA since 1993.   All the designs are inspired by the materials. Antique wood with layers of paint that identify the decades as the sanding takes off layers of color, and tin that has been keeping a barn full of animals dry for years.
There is a small gift shop at the entrance of the building.
